TSI fosters Organizational Change Management (OCM) in a very applied manner. Based on great research in OCM and refined by hundreds of projects, TSI has developed an entire methodology and pragmatic approach that helps organizations manage change effectively so that client teams experience project success with minimum disruption.
TSI trains on OCM, we measure change readiness and constantly monitor the levers, both from an individual behavior perspective, as well as from an overall or group dynamic. Lastly, since TSI’s approach is to look at OCM in relation to other improvement efforts (cush as a process or performance improvement project, or a technology strategy or program management project), we have the opportunity to interweave it in other tasks and activities. - Private Sector/For Profit University
TSI was engaged by this rapidly-growing, online educational company to help them improve visibility over two key processes that were being tracked manually, and with extensive effort and delays. Firstly, the program development process was extremely manual and people-intensive. After TSI led a brief structured analysis set or workshops, we recommended a project tracking tool to assist academic leaders in planning and managing the status of college-wide program development projects. This ensured each program was completed in time for student registration.
Secondly, the faculty assignment process was reviewed and enhanced to build in faculty experience, performance and availability parameters. Recommendations from this project also include an improvement in technology (in addition to change in some policies and processes) centered on a tool that was currently in place and required further development. The updated tool now automates most of the tasks involved in the assigning of over 1,000 faculty members to over 2,500 class sections per term, on a cycle that repeats eight times each year.
- Large University
Rapidly Growing Online Retail and Marketing Company: Rapidly growing organically and by acquisition, this company was tagged as “the fastest growing company in history.” TSI was selected to define improved financial processes and clarify roles and responsibilities in most areas of the company.
This included key financial reporting processes and controls to enable their financial function to enable and sustain this growth. TSI also led the project to rapidly assess the existing technology and then to define business and technology requirements. This project resulted in selecting a cloud-based financial system (NetSuite); TSI assisted in the contract negotiation and establishing key service levels and KPIs for all vendors. Finally, TSI led the global implementation and achieved a great deal of success both in speed and quality of the implementation. The system was live in 5 countries in 6 weeks and in 51 countries in less than 9 months.
