Based on the successful deployment of cutting edge telecommunications solutions and consistently strong sales, this organization has outgrown its current financial and order management systems. Over the past several years, they have added many stop gaps to address their growing pains including adding staff and developing band aid technology solutions and Excel spreadsheets and “one off” databases to keep the company growing. TSI was selected to aid the organization to streamline their business processes and objectively evaluate a functional, integrated system that will allow them to scale in size. Many “quick hit” and longer term process improvements have been found and are being implemented.
TSI led a process evaluation project to analyze key processes with Business SMEs in preparation for ERP vendor selection. Defined and documented “As Is” and “To Be” Processes for key Pre-Sales processes through to Order Implementation and Finance Department functions. Defined, documented, and prioritized essential Business Requirements. Developed and documented essential Business scripts that reflected the most important and complex business scenarios derived from the “As Is”/“To Be”/Business Requirement Processes.
