Challenges: TSI was selected to help jump start the internal consulting team for a diverse, growth-oriented, public, mid-sized institution. One of the key drivers of need for this team was a myriad of process improvement, organizational change management, and technology related initiatives.
Approach: TSI leveraged its methodologies and tailored those to fit the unique needs of this institution. We embarked on a program that included:
- Assessed several units and colleges administrative organizations
- Training a cohort of 30 practitioners
- Developing proficiency in: Current state, analysis, and future state process maps – Total of 14 processes with TSI’s engagement
- TSI led process mapping of 2 large processes
- TSI facilitated process mapping for 6 mid-sized processes
- TSI supported trainees on process mapping 6 processes
Results: The TSI team performed completed each phases of our work on time and within budget, with the last phase of our work, the CRM selection, being facilitated virtually in late 2020 and early 2021.
By defining key processes and specific business needs, training key resources to drive the implementation, and incorporating important terms and conditions in the subscription and implementation agreement, this institution is prepared for a successful implementation.
